Reunion Class of 1977 – 40th Reunion
Dear Class of 1977 Bruins,
It is an honor to welcome you back to campus for the Bruin Engineers’ Reunion Weekend 2017 on Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 11th, 2017.
So much has changed on campus in the 40 years, since we graduated! Do you remember the now extinct original Boelter Hall I and II? With all the changes throughout the years, we should take pride in a few things that have continued to remain the same, like the UCLA 8-clap, our top-notch Engineering academics, and groundbreaking faculty and student research.
Unfortunately, plummeting state support is making it increasingly difficult to cover the critical needs of each student and fund the resources needed to sustain our outstanding academic programs and ensure a bright future for generations of Bruin Engineers to come.
As we reflect on the support we received while we were students, from UCLA and its facility and staff, and look toward the future of our School’s continued success, our School needs our support now more than ever. That is why the UCLA School of Engineering and we invite you to show your reunion spirit by making a gift to commemorate our graduation milestone and give back to the school that helped us create our Engineering path.
Consider giving today above your regular amount to help the UCLA Engineering Class of 1977 reach its class giving goal of $22,000 over 28 reunion class gifts!
For the latest information about the Bruin Engineers’ Reunion Weekend 2017 and the progress of our reunion giving goal, be sure to check back often. Also, connect to your Class of 1977 Facebook Group for more ways to interact with your fellow class alumni such as viewing photo memories, who is attending, and much more!
Remember to invite all your friends for Bruin Engineers’ Reunion 2017 this upcoming June. We look forward to seeing you there.
